Louis and the Nazis

I have never in my life been more in shock than while I was watching the documentary "Louis and the Nazis" . It is an hour and twenty minutes long, and one of these days I think you should take a look at it. It's basically about these White Nationalists (Nazis, Skinheads, KKK, RACISTS) and how they view things and the world in which they grow up in and the things they teach their kids and it's just pathetic. To be honest, I didn't think that there were people so extreme in their ideas about other races - I guess you can call me naive. I honestly thought that in this society we had moved past that stage - but here they are - Down in Southern California, these people who believe that every person who isn't white should be strung up and killed - people who believe that all other races are ugly people.. People who teach their eleven year old kids about hating other races - and people who believe the saying "all men are created equal" is a lie..
That documentary actually disgusted me. To think that if one of those little white girls ever was friendly to a person of another race, that their mother would get mad at them.

I didn't know that there was still so much hate in the world as I know it. Ok Im not blind, I do know that there are some people in this world who think that multiculturalism is bad, who think that we shouldn't be taking in people from other countries, who believe that they are destroying our culture and countries (Canada, USA) but I honestly had no clue just how far it went.

I really have to look at myself and think about some of the things I may have said or done that might be considered racist, and then I have to think about it - why would I ever say something like that? No one deserves to be looked down upon because of the color of thier skin. No one deserves to be treated any differently because of thier religion - because of the way they dress.. Im just sickened right now - absoloutely disgusted that there are people out there who actually believe they are better because they are white. I think these people have lost touch with reality. And if that is the image that they are giving to white people, then I am ashamed to call myself one. Thankfully though, that is not the widespread image of us white folk- Thankfully, other nationalities arent as narrow minded and as ignorant as some of us are.

Anyways - I just had to talk for a moment about how much racism disgusts me and how seriously ignorant I think some of these people are..


Ugg. Im really frustrated right now... I gotta run, I just dont really know what else to say about this whole situation. People need to open their eyes. AND don't get me wrong, Im not gonna go saying that white people are the only people who are racist. I've experienced racism towards myself and my culture many times. What Im really saying is that everyone needs to get a life - and realize that we are all deserving of the same respect and tolerance - no matter what country we're in or from. I dont expect to be treated any differently in another country than I do here. No one should expect that at all.
