Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

So I woke up yesterday morning, and looked out the window.. I had to do a double take, because it appeared that big huge white flakes were falling from the sky.. So I rubbed my eyes, and looked again.. It sure was snowing. This of course, put me in the mood for happy things and Christmas, which put me in the mood for going home. So I put on Christmas music, but only for a couple of songs, because I didn't want to spoil the time when Christmas would actually come. So yeah.. Yesterday was the first snow of the season for Calgary.. Thank God it didn't stick. So I logged onto the computer at school the other day.. And Bert and Ernie were staring at me, instead of Bernie and Ernie.. I was amused, so amused infact, that I laughed out loud into the empty room. I regret the day (sort of) that I told mike my password... But It does add amusement to my days, so I kind of enjoy it when my background randomly changes. This one time, it was Garth brooks instead of .. I don't even remember who, but I was like... WOAH! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN? So this last weekend with Tricia was kind of boring, due to the fact that I have barley any money, and that I don't know my way fully around Calgary yet, AND that I have not got a vehicle at my disposal.. nor would I know where to drive it if I did.. So that's that. We went to go see two movies for the price of one, at a cheap theatre. I let tricia choose one, tho I knew it would be a mistake, cause she chose Madagascar, and we all know how much I love spending my money on Cartoons.. (NOT!) I didn't enjoy it, the only part that I liked was when the king of Limers started dancing and singing "I like to move it move it, you like to move it move it, we like to move it move it.." Well.. You get the point. It was funny, tho, because dude had a Persian accent. So after that, we had about a 45 minute wait until the next movie, which I chose, and I picked Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, because 1. I liked the original, and 2.Johnny Depp was in it, although he looked like a woman, he's a good actor, and 3. Nothing better was playing. So that's my excuse for that one. Naturally, the original Charlie and the chocolate factory was better, but the two were very different. In the first movie, Willy Wonka is meant to be creepy (and believe me, he is) and in the second movie, he's just plain funny. I enjoyed it.

Kill me now, I had a whole bunch of paragraphs after this one, and then the blog decided it would erase itself.. SO Starting again... grrrr...

Friday, mike and I are headed out to Vermillion to have a thanksgiving celebration with Cara and her family, and then on sunday, we're headed to Spruce Grove, to have another thanksgiving with our family.. I am really excited to spend some time with my family.. Yes, I am admitting to missing them, family, that is.. I even miss living with my parents.. IMAGINE! So speaking of my family, Things at my permanent place of residence (Meaning Not Cow-Town) are a changing. My parents decided to get rid of the focus,.. My baby.. ahhh! And replace it with a mini-van.. Not so wierd, except for the fact that when they got rid of the mini van for the focus, it was because mike and I were older, and we no longer needed a large car.. And mom's babysitting the three kidlets from next door, (who are so cute, and I miss them too) and fostering one, possibly two babies, and there just wasn't room for them in the focus.. So it's back to the family mobile ! Speaking of cars, I just booked my road test for December, then realized that I'm not insured to drive the mini van until April.. So I can't really do the road test then can I? SO I cancelled it, which really sucks..
Speaking of no room, (in the car. We were, I promise) my family is also considering moving to a larger, somewhat more comfortable house in the future.. It is funny, because all the talk before I went to college was about how mom and dad would move to a smaller house now that we're gone, but no... A larger house it is.. Possibly with a large basement for me to take over and inhabit while I go to school and sort out my life.. Should be a lot of fun. As it goes right now, there is a crib in my room, not sure how that works, cause my room is so small, good thing Im not living there right now cause I'd be cramped up! But I really want to see Dylan (this baby they're fostering) So hopefully I will. Maybe He'll even be there at Christmas when I come home. Either way..
So not much else is new here. Oh wait, that's a lie. I got a job the other day, and I start on Wednsday.. It's at "Staples Business Depot".. I'm kind of nervous, because i have never worked in retail before, just in food and all that.. you know, Subway, KFC, The Deli.. (Ick) This is going to look fairly good on my resume, and I'm excited about it.. Nervous at the same time, tho.. Anyways.. for now, I'm going to go, I have to jet to the bank, pay my phone bill, get some direct deposit info for staples, and woo hoo!
So it's been a slice, I miss you all..
Pay attention in class, don't get caught reading my blog, whit!
I love you all!
Love forever: Shle

"I'm wishing on a star
To follow where you are
I'm wishing on a dream
To follow what it means
And I'm wishing on the rainbows that I see
I'm wishing on the people who really dream
And I'm wishing on tomorrow, rain never come
And I'm wishing on the other things we never done"
