Familial Relations and Staples!

You know, I was working last night, and this guy came up to me, (and this is funny, because I work in a store called staples,) and he goes "Excuse me, do you have any staples?"
I laughed.
This leads me to tell you that last night was indeed my first night of work. Around quarter to five, I got dressed and headed over. It was overall, an enjoyable evening. They are starting me as a cashier, then I will move into the copy centre. So I got there, got my uniform, which isn't so bad, it's red and black.. I like those colors. Ummm back on track! I got the tour of the place, and then watched the basics of bieng a cashier. Then I started ringing people through, all in all it was alot of fun. I enjoy the people I work with, the only issue I had was paging people over the loud speaker system.. I dont enjoy having tons of people hear my voice, which is why I dont like it when my godparents stick me on speakerphone. Grrs. OH WELL! This is going to be, I think, a fairly enjoyable job.
So it appears I don't have much to say about that... It was, after all, my first day. More to come on the whole staples job thing..
So I got home, put on some comfy pants, and chilled. I called some peeps, talked on the phone for about an hour (56 minutes, to be percise) to about everyone in Tricias house. It was enjoyable. My auntie audrey called me last night, which was also fun, cause she's amusing! I also talked to my gramma in ontario, and my great aunt, right here in Calgary, and some other people. It was enjoyable. Umm I aslo read the entire book of genesis yesterday instead of going to chapel (GASP!) It was actually an enlightening experience, I learned alot by it. It was an assignment, so I didn't choose to do it, but believe me, I am glad that I did. I learned alot about family conflicts, and when I think about it, the stuff we have to deal with today in our families, (some of us, at least) is nothing compared to the insane conflicts in genesis! Incest, murder, lies, slavery, seduction! it sounds like it could make a great novel! (what am I talking about, it's already a book!) Speaking of novels, WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH MYSELF?
I've been here a month, and I finished the Harry Potter series already.. Now I just dont know what to do with all my spare time! I enjoyed reading the series, it was fun. Then my roomie Shaunna, gave me a book to read, called "danger in the shadows" .. It was a christian-romance-mystery novel.. Quite the combonation, if you ask me. If you don't, too bad, I'll tell you anyways.
Not quite the Danielle Steel that I'm used to, but excellent if you ask me. I read it in two sittings, half the first day, and the other half the second one. It must have been good for me to finish that quickly.. so yeah. If any of you have any good novels that you feel like reccomending, hit me!

This blog isn't really going anywhere. OH! I forgot, Robert, you wanted me to mention you! So here you are. Hi Robert.
Incidentally, none of you (except robert) knows who robert is. He is a friend of mine from a likkle country in the caribbean, and that should be obvious to you which one it is. Enough of that.
Tomorrow morning at eight am, we, (bieng mike and I) are headed out to Vermillion, Alberta, and I am so excited about it. I've heard amazing things about the peach juice in vermillion, and so we totally have to go and get some.. If your peach juice is the best thing about your town.. then good on you for bieng proud of it! We'll just have to see if it really is as good as I've heard.
UMMMM! Ok well I'm bored of this, and it aint going nowhere, and Plus, i want to go upstairs and borrow two bucks from my lovely brother.
