A Really nice view

Afternoon, all you bloggers!
How's life treating you?
Well, today is my second day in a new environment, Calgary, Alberta. I finally met my other roommate, Shaunna, she seems really nice, tho I haven't really talked to her for long enough to tell you about her.
Today, I went shopping with my brother/protector/tourguide, and I got some textbooks. It was an interesting experience, I bought eight books today, mike has two of them that I need, and I am going to talk to my professor about the bible I may need to purchase, and see if, perhaps, I can avoid buying it, cause bibles are expensive, and my mom just bought me a new bible before I left. Either way, Im excited about

So some of my books are like absoloutely huge! I got one called "Handbook to the bible", one called "Intro to World Missions" , one called "bieng the Body" and also a "Dictionary of the Old Testament" .. those books are humongus.. Then there's some other ones, which are smaller, and not hard cover, but are also looking interesting. I actually can't wait until i start reading them.
Uhhh what else. Oh today, I bought some thumb tacks, so I got to put up a small bulliten board, upon which I have hung all my crosses. It's feeling more and more like home, only a bit tho, Calgary will never ever replace Vancouver as home. It's like.. well.. home!

So where we live is a very noisy part of Calgary.. See, Calgary is huge! But the res and the school are downtown Calgary, like the part with all the highrises, and the thugs and gangsters, and all night there are sirens going off, people skateboarding down the streets, or alot of wind making frightening noises. But it's gonna be great, this is just one huge adventure.
Ummmm I havent got much else to say, but dont you worry, cause it's only just begun!
I'll be writing alot more now, so yeah! Be ready!
