Patiently Waiting

Good mornin to ya, How's life treating you?
Well I'm sitting here, nine thirteen on a saturday morning, the one morning on which I could have slept in this weekend (I work on sundays)
waiting for nine thirty. Why, you may ask, is Ashley waiting for nine thirty? Well, my good friends and comrades, the answer lies within the ticketmaster.com website. You see, I am waiting for the U2 Tickets to go on sale, so that my father and I can enjoy this amazing band. We seem to go to alot of events like this together, and when I heard that U2 was coming to Vancouver (the ONLY Canadian city on thier tour) I couldn't resist. U2 is Amazing, there's no way anyone in their right mind would miss this concert. Oh and sorry for your luck if you live in another province. You know, U2 has influenced many bands and artists, They've been around since before I was a kid, they were great then, and they are great now. I am quite excited for this event, it shall prove to be absoloutely amazing.
So, after work last night, I ran into a friend of mine in the parking lot at Parkgate, and then headed down the hill, prepared to watch some good old fashioned BET with Tricia. They usually have some great music videos playing, ranging from rap to reggae. It's good fun. But Alas, when I arrived there last night, I was struck with the bad news that BET was no longer on Tricias Cable .. That made me sad, so Instead, we just chilled. It was indeed a good time.
We even started watching "Pirates of the Caribbean" at around two am, but fell asleep an hour into it. By three we were both dead asleep. Then Will hit Jack over the head with an oar, which woke me up. I mean, who wouldn't wake up when Johnny Depp is inflicted with pain? *sighs* Poor man.

Wow, I tell ya, my hands are really quite cold right now, and that doesn't impress me much. I dont enjoy bieng cold. It's a really gorgeous day today, gorgeous enough for me to consider climbing up on the roof to finally take down our christmas lights, ha ha. Yes, It is indeed february, no, we havent taken down the lights yet. But on the bright side, they've been unplugged for awhile now. Christmas wasn't that big of a thing this year. Usually when we unplug our stuff it makes me all sad, but this year, I kinda shrugged it off.
((Wow, man, another two minutes 'till the tickets go onsale. woooo.. one minute now.. I guess I'll be right back to finish this update))
Wow you know what SUCKS? The concert.. Sold out .. in five minutes. Then, they added another concert and we had tickets, and all set were we to buy them when the internet flashed "Sorry, there was a problem processing your request"
AND THAT MAKES ME UPSET!
Just a wee bit.
Anyways, im gonna go, that dampens my spirits a bit.
Later
Love forever: Shle

xoxo
