Oops, I didn't do it again...

Wow, I feel like such an idiot. I was sitting here, watching the random images flash before my eyes on the computer, (my screensaver) and I was trying to figure out what to do today. Then, from the other room, I heard my mom tell my aunt that I was probably updating my blog.. And then I was like.. HOLY CRAP! I HAVE A BLOG!
So where did I leave off last time? well, As fate would have it, I did indeed manage to finish all of my homework before spring break, and it was a whole lot. I had a geography project, a comp civ project, a law project, an info tech project, and ... im sure there was something else. oh yeah, two tests. all before spring break. SO I got all of it finished, and on thursday night, I went to work. After work, my dear friend Tricia came over and, as I finished packing up, we left for NSA.
We spent an uneventful evening at the church, awaiting the four AM venture to Calgary, Alberta for LYC 2005. I was quite excited about this whole venture for a couple of reasons. One of them, was that I would get to see my brother. The other was that I had a feeling that God was going to do amazing things that weekend, not just to me, but in general.
The bus ride out was long, and uneventful. I slept through most of it, listening to music, and getting up only once to use the bathroom in the back. We watched some movie, but I can't remember which one it was... Anyways, then we got to the U of C, and it was great, cause I was so psyched. So me and Tricia walked over to the registration, and started the journey thru that, when all of the sudden, I heard my name.. Actually, that's not entirely true, I heard someone say "GIDGET!" Now, for those of you who are confused, and wondering why the name Gidget would mean anything to me, It was my camp Name.... Back in the day... waaayyyy back in the day. So ... back to the story.. It turned out to be an old camp buddy, Mel Doyle, and she still calls me Gidget.. Meh.. anyways, so we got registered, then I saw my brother, which made me happier. and pretty much, yeah.. YC was an amazing experience. Jono lead worship, and he was awesome, I could see Christ working in him, and just taking the energy of the whole place, and throwing it back to us through worship. It was good. Umm, what else? Ok, the speaker ... that was good. Every time I would sit and listen to him, I felt like he was talking right to me.. That doesnt happen too often, but I swear to you, each time, It was like he was looking at my life story, and speaking right to it.. right to me. So God does work in mysterious ways indeed. indeeeed...
Ok, so then we drove to Edmonton, I spent a couple of uneventful hours in the mall with Tricia.. Remind me not to go shopping with her again. Matter of fact, just remind me not to go shopping.. I hate shopping. It always makes me broke. ok, so then I met up with my aunt, and she took me out to dinner with my little cousins, and we went to Eastside Marios. It was amazing.. Did anyone ever go there before? I mean. .. have you been there? they make the most amazing pasta and all that jazz. ANYWAYS.. So now Im back.. It's kind of crazy over at my house, my gramma, great aunt, and aunt are here from Ontario and Calgary, and things are kinda hectic. Ok, ALOT hectic. I dont have a bed to sleep on, I've been kicked out of my room, which.. I might add, is a disaster area. I thought old ladies were supposed to be neat and tidy? My room was so nice before they came here, and now it's a friggen disaster area. I hope they clean it up before they leave.. Which is on tuesday..
Anyways, im tired, I've been working all day, every day, it's crazy. One of the subway employees got fired, and so now I work Tuesday, Wednsday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.. Muchos Denaros, as Tricia would be likened to say... Ok, im gonna go find something productive to do.. Love to you all....
