Jeepers?

Hey hey, good morning to you all. as it goes, I am sitting in the computer lab in the library at Seycove Secondary school, and, instead of doing my geography homework, I am .. blogging.
Wanna hear something funny? Today in class, mr. Earl was asking when we wanted to do our Geography tests next week, and I spent about five minutes trying to convince him to let me do mine on friday, when I realized.. Oh Crap! I wont be here next friday! Indeed, I am going to be leaving next friday at four in the morning to Calgary, Alberta, for .. you guessed it.. YOUTH CONFERENCE!
That should prove to be really really exciting. At first, I wasn't going to go. I just simply wasn't going to go to youth conference.. I didnt want to. But now that I think of it, im super glad that I did plan to go because.. It's just going to be an amazing experience. Plus, it'll give me a chance to apply for college! IM SO PSYCHED! Honestly, like i've said before, Im going to Jamaica this summer, but I am way more psyched about going to Calgary for school. It was amusing, we had a capp presentation yesterday, about the costs and everything of moving out. The person who was speaking decided to throw in that Living in Calgary was one of the worst experiences that she's ever had. And when I asked her why, she said because it was soooo cold that she was...just really cold. But that doesnt scare me. Infact, Im quite ready for it. I got this nice jacket that will do well for that snowy weather in Calgary. And.. I know, I know, after awhile, I will get insane sick of the snow, but.. having snow at Christmas will be amazing.
Ok, Last night, I was at work, and It was fairly slow, and insane boring. But then, all of the sudden, this dashing young man walked through the door, and at first, I thought to myself, "Who is that dashing young man?" and then I realized that it was indeed.. Sam with a haircut.... Ha ha.. So then, he must've felt obligated or something, because he ordered a sub, then procedded to tell me that he had just finished eating two other kind of subs downtown, and he was really full, and then I said.. Well you dont have to get one, you know.. Hahahahah. Then, he and I sat down and had a really good talk for about 45 minutes. We talked about Grad, about relationships, about ... just everything in general. He even told me what he was going to wear to grad! I was kind of excited about this conversation, because I hadn't seen him in a long while, because he now works downtown, and ... aparantely makes the worlds best coffee. (No, he doesnt work at starbucks.... )All the while, I was kind of forgetting that I was indeed at work, which left me with a whole lot of cleaning to do after they left.
So after that, a friend of his came by, and they both started playing guitar, and yes.. I turned off the Beat 94.5 no matter how much it killed me. and then.. they left. and I closed the store, and went home... That was one of the most slack nights I've ever had at work, lol. It was good fun.
I was looking at my brothers blog, and it was good fun, because I recognized almost all of the songs that he made refrence to in the updates, and.. Yeah .. Now I've got that song "Turpentine Chase" stuck in my head.. I remember this one time, I was driving back from Calgary with mike, and we listened to a bunch of dashboard confessional, and I mentioned to him that Dashboard confessional makes refrence to Turpentine in two of thier songs, and he was really impressed. Then there would be times when we would both be singing our hearts out, and he would mess up on a line, and then I would make fun of him, then I would mess up on a line, and he would make fun of me... And then we would both just harmonize perfectly, and we would both be impressed.

So yesterday, I was sitting in my info tech class, listening to the tunes that were coming out of my Mp3 player, and then.. I just got sick of it! I've done it, mike, I've made myself sick of Rap and Reggae for now. so yesterday, I took my headphones off, and then rocked out for the rest of the day. I even listened to Metallica for two songs. And Dashboard, Blink 182, Weezer, U2.. Ahh it was AMAZING! I think I'm going to rock out for a few more days before I get back into the rap and reggae scene. Well I never thought It would happen. But I was just sitting there, and I was like.. OK, THIS MUSIC IS GETTING REALLY ANNOYING NOW! and so I stopped listening to it.. I'll admit, I listened to Ja Rule this morning, but... yeah... Mabye a bit more rock, and a bit less rap... No, Mike, my brain has NOT rotted! See? It's healing itself from the scars of that music i subjected myself to..
OK, the bell just went, so IM going to post. Have a great day!
Love you all.
Love shle
xoxoxo

On an island in the sun
we'll be playing and having fun
and it makes me feel so fine
I cant control my brain
